Overview

Health Watch Cameroon (HealthWatch-C) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to improving health literacy and preventive healthcare in Cameroon. Our mission is to educate, empower, and enable individuals to understand and manage their health determinants effectively, fostering a healthier and more informed population.

Guided by principles of equality, inclusivity, and sustainability, HealthWatch-C seeks to bridge the gap in health awareness by providing accessible and affordable screening services, educational workshops, and digital health tools.

What We Do ?

  1. Health Education & Awareness

We conduct community-based educational programs to raise awareness about critical health determinants such as:

  • Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Blood sugar and cholesterol levels
  • Blood pressure and cardiovascular health
  • HIV, Hepatitis, and HPV screening
  • Genotype and blood group awareness
  • Kidney and liver function tests
  • Mental health assessments and support

Our goal is to promote early detection and preventive healthcare practices through targeted campaigns, workshops, and media outreach.

  1. Free and Affordable Health Screenings

We organize health screening campaigns in both urban and rural areas, providing tests and consultations for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cholesterol management. Through partnerships with health professionals, we offer referrals for those in need of specialized medical attention.
